Exciting news!

I'm excited to share that I've been named a finalist for the Women in Innovation Awards for my work with Beyond Believed!

For those who may be new to my work on Beyond Believed, it all started from a personal frustration with the lack of clear answers to legal questions following my assault. I also went through the all-too-common feelings of being overwhelmed and let down by those entrusted to protect and investigate. This experience was the driving force behind creating Beyond Believed, a platform committed to providing straightforward access to crucial resources and support for sexual assault survivors.

Beyond Believed officially launched in 2020 after two years of compiling over 100 resources, which include victim services, crisis centers, legal aid, and support communities. In 2021, we were honored with two Anthem Awards, and now, being recognized as a WIN finalist is an incredible honor. I'm immensely proud of Beyond Believed's recognition and to be a finalist alongside these talented women!

But let me tell you, this is just the beginning! I've been putting in the hours on an entirely new site, with a vision for our complete database and training an AI to enhance our "Healing Companion," ensuring instant answers to complex questions. Check out the beta here!

What's more, I'm thrilled to announce that we're now opening up partnerships with lawyers who support survivors, trauma-informed therapists, and other relevant professionals to be featured in our database! Don't hesitate to reach out for more info on these exciting updates and partnership opportunities!
